Welcome to the Shootout

There's always a little bit of dread in the back of my mind when starting a new piece of work.  Especially when I have only a general idea of the direction I'll be taking, as is the case right now.  Anyway, my current plan is to focus on pop culture, especially TV and film.  I'll tell you which movies and shows every halfway intelligent individual should neglect all his other responsibilities to see, as well as rant about which movies and shows maintain popularity despite being so aneurism-inducingly awful that their mere existence is an argument in favor of terrorism.  Aside from that, it'll be pretty much whatever the fuck I feel like.  Music?  Sure, maybe once in a while.  World news?  Why the hell not?  Adorable animal videos?  You bet your ass there'll be adorable animal videos.  Basically, this is going to be a place for all my most and least favorite things.  Just as importantly, I'll be reading the comments for any suggestions/requests/bitching, so as to please you readers.  By tomorrow, I'll start posting some actual content.  Until then, thanks for reading, and congratulations for being an inaugural Rusty Gunner.
